Can my child attend coaching if they are not a member of the club?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No. All children must be&nbsp;<strong>junior members of the club<\/strong>&nbsp;to take part in the coaching programme. Membership must be&nbsp;<strong>paid before the coaching term starts<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Can my child try a week or two before committing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately,&nbsp;<strong>we do not offer &#8216;trial&#8217; coaching sessions<\/strong>. To participate, your child must be a&nbsp;<strong>fully paid-up junior member<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>enrolled in the coaching programme<\/strong>&nbsp;in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Does the membership fee include coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No.&nbsp;<strong>Membership and coaching are separate<\/strong>. Membership allows your child to access club facilities and register for coaching, but&nbsp;<strong>coaching fees must be paid separately<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. How many classes does the coaching fee cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each coaching term includes&nbsp;<strong>one class per week<\/strong>&nbsp;over a 17-week period (excluding school and bank holidays).<br>If you&#8217;d like your child to attend more than one class a week, you can&nbsp;<strong>sign up again and pay separately for additional classes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. I\u2019m away for two weeks \u2013 can I pay less?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No.&nbsp;<strong>We do not offer partial refunds or discounts<\/strong>&nbsp;for missed classes.<br>If the club cancels or reschedules a class,&nbsp;<strong>we will ensure a make-up class is arranged or offer a refund where appropriate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6. What does my child need for coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your child should come prepared with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>racket<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>water bottle<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A&nbsp;<strong>white t-shirt<\/strong>, as per our junior dress code<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7. Will my child be indoors or outdoors for coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coaching is held&nbsp;<strong>both indoors and outdoors<\/strong>&nbsp;depending on the class.<br>The location will be clearly&nbsp;<strong>stated on your schedule<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8. What if I join my child as a junior member, but they don\u2019t get a space in coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We do our best to let you know in advance if your child is likely to get a space.<br>However, if you join as a member and your child&nbsp;<strong>does not secure a place<\/strong>, the club will&nbsp;<strong>refund your membership fee<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9. Does my child automatically stay in the programme each year?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes \u2013 if your child is signed up in September, they will be&nbsp;<strong>automatically enrolled for the following January<\/strong>.<br>If you do&nbsp;<strong>not make the coaching payment<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>by the deadline given<\/strong>, we will assume you no longer want the space and it will be released to other members.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10. I would like to play tennis with my child \u2013 is that allowed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To play with your child on court,&nbsp;<strong>you must also be a full, paid-up member<\/strong>&nbsp;of the club.<br>Being listed as your child\u2019s contact for registration&nbsp;<strong>does not make you a member<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>11. My child has been invited to a development or performance squad \u2013 what do I need to know<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your child is invited to join one of our advanced squads, you must ensure&nbsp;<strong>all coaching fees are up to date<\/strong>&nbsp;to retain their place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>12. Who do I contact with questions about coaching?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cltc.ie\/site\/stephen-garvin-director-of-tennis\/\">Stephen Garvin<\/a> is the Director of Tennis at CLTC and will assist with your coaching inquiries.
