Getting Started & Competitive Play

Q: I’m a total beginner—what do you suggest?
A: We recommend you begin with some beginner coaching. It’s the best way to build skills and confidence while meeting other beginner players to practice with. Our Men’s and Ladies’ Captains are also happy to help connect you with players of similar ability.

Q: I can already play tennis and want to get involved in competitive play—what should I do?
A: Fantastic! We can connect you with the Men’s or Ladies’ Captains, who can place you in box leagues or on the club ladder. You can also sign up for any organised social tennis run by the Captains and their sub-committees. If you’re interested in representing the club in league matches, they may invite you to some informal games to assess your level.

Q: How do I sign up for organised tennis events or leagues?
A: You can register for club-organised tennis sessions through your Smart Club Cloud account. It’s easy to access and a great way to get involved.
