New Era Coaching @ CLTC – What do we do?

What Do We Do at New Era Coaching?
We get asked this a lot—and we love it!

At New Era Coaching, we’re a Small Group Personal Training Gym. But what does that actually mean?

Think of it as personal training—with a group atmosphere. You’re not going it alone, but you’re still getting expert coaching and individual attention. Every session is led by a coach who guides you through the workout, helps you with technique, chooses the right weights, and makes sure you know exactly what to do.

Our sessions are 45 minutes long and have a maximum of 6 people, creating a positive and motivating environment while still allowing for a personalised approach to best suit your training goals.

Each workout is designed to train your entire body and is part of a progressive program that challenges you, no matter your fitness level or experience. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been training for years, we’re here to help you get stronger and see real progress both on and off the court.

“I’d love to go to the gym, but I can’t with my injury.”

We hear this a lot—and honestly, it makes us a little sad. Aches, pains, and injuries happen to all of us. Trust us, we’ve been there too.

But here’s the thing: you can still train.

We’re always ready to adapt your session based on how you’re feeling when you walk in. Whether it’s a sore knee, a stiff shoulder, or something else, there’s almost always a safe and effective alternative exercise or modification that can be made.

Every coach here has multiple variations for each exercise already in mind. Often, introducing your body to different, controlled movements can actually help reduce pain in the long run.

Strengthening the muscles around a cranky joint means that the joint doesn’t have to work as hard—and that means less pain over time.

And because we understand how the body works, we can offer targeted exercises to help improve the area that’s bothering you. If you’re seeing a physio and already have a rehab plan, we’ll work alongside it to make sure you get the most out of those exercises.

We get it—injuries are frustrating.

But that doesn’t mean you’re out of options. There’s always something you can do.

We offer a trial month package that gives you 8 sessions across 4 weeks.

With sessions in the morning and evening, why not come in and try it out for yourself?

Hope to hear from you,

Alan and Andre @ New Era Coaching

Fitness Room – Member Guidelines

To ensure smooth operation for all members while New Era Strength and Conditioning classes are on, please use the following guidelines while using the fitness room:

Check-In Requirement:

Mornings – Mon-Thurs 6:15am and 10:30am –

Use of fitness room by members in the mornings between 6:15am and 10:30am will be limited to warm-ups and cardio only—no full training sessions during this time.

Evenings  -Mon-Thurs 5pm-8pm –

We ask that, if there is a New Era class scheduled, members wishing to use the gym to check in with the New Era coach, especially if there are 3 or more people in the class. This ensures proper management of space and equipment during busy class times. New Era classes always will take priority for the weight workstations and room limits.

Equipment Priority:

If all 4 workstations are in use, New Era coaches have priority over the equipment for their class. Members should be aware that coaches will be using these stations for class activities and may need to adjust their workouts accordingly. Using weights without a workstation/bench is not allowed for member safety. Cardio and floor-based stretching can be done if workstations are busy, please ensure this is done away from workstation floor space.

Maximum Capacity:

The maximum number of people in the gym at any given time is 6. This helps maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all gym users and allows coaches to manage the space efficiently during classes. As per check in requirement please check with New Era coach.

The fitness room is fully available for members use on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

All members wishing to use the gym are strongly encouraged to attend an induction session. This will be organised and led by New Era Coaches to ensure that members are familiar with the gym’s equipment, safety protocols, and gym etiquette.

By following these guidelines, the gym can maintain a balance between coaching needs and individual member workouts while ensuring a smooth and respectful environment for everyone involved. We appreciate your effort in keeping it clean and returning any used equipment to its place.
