Dear Member We are delighted to announce that following confirmation from the Department of Health and Tennis Ireland members Over 70 living within 5km of the club may now play tennis in accordance to the guidelines previously issued. Please see the statement below from Tennis ireland. We will continue to keep you informed as current guidelines evolve and change. Return to play- Phase 1

 Dear Members  I am pleased to report that we will be re-opening our courts from Monday 18th May. Play will be restricted to social tennis only in accordance with the Government’s announcement on 1st May in respect of the Roadmap for Reopening Society.  Tennis Ireland, in conjunction with Government and medical experts, have finalised guidance / protocols for all affiliated tennis clubs which are available on the Tennis Ireland website: Return to Tennis Guidance The guidance has been reviewed by our Club’s Executive Committee prior to being finalised and our comments were submitted to Tennis Ireland.   The Executive Committee has considered the final recommendations issued by Tennis Ireland and have decided that we as a club should adhere to them. Dear Members We have been following and adhering to the Government and HSE advice and guidelines regarding the Covid19 restrictions over the last number of weeks and especially the advice around outdoor exercise and the benefits to one's mental health and well being which is why we endeavored to maintain access to the courts for members use, however as this crisis evolves we are now been advised that it is time to suspend all tennis activities with immediate effect. Tennis Ireland our governing body has endorsed this position and we follow this advice and accordingly we shall be closing our courts with immediate effect. Clubhouse Closure in line with Updated Government Restrictions for Sporting Activities and Catering Services

Dear Members  In line with HSE advice The Clubhouse will remain closed for use until further notice. Access to locker rooms, showers and WC's will not be available  Bar and Catering Facilities have also been suspended.The health, safety and welfare of our staff and members is of primary importance to us and following current advice the decision has been made to suspend all bar and catering services until further notice.  We are leaving the following facilities open (for members only) for exercising purposes In line with current HSE advice  Tennis courts will remain open to members pending further advice. Dear members, As we told you previously wellbeing and safety of you at CLTC, along with our staff is our number one priority and our reason for being.   FitVision supports national efforts to control and slow the spread of COVID-19 Virus and want to play our part and protect public health. Club Cancellations due to COVID-19

Dear Members, On foot of the latest Government information this morning in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic,  the club will be advising the following with immediate effect. 1. The Junior Coaching programme will be postponed until we are advised otherwise. 2. All Social tennis events will be cancelled, Wednesday Ladies and Gents Tennis, Thursday Ladies Tennis and Friday Gents Tennis. 3. All St Patrick's weekend food and beverage arranged offerings have been cancelled. 4. The Spring championships will be postponed until advised otherwise. We sincerely apologise for the short notice and inconvenience caused however we will continue to follow advice from the HSE and update you in due course on progress of the current situation.
