Welcome to the first ladies tennis update of 2019. I didn't get a chance to do one for December so I'll cover Decemeber too. Thanks to those of you who sent me pictures and updates……and my usual appeal for material (photos, reports etc.) to make the updates as interesting as possible. The Finals Night of the Team Tennis competition will be held on Friday 15th February. There will be Men's Finals between the top 2 teams in each group at 7:30pm in the club. The Team Tennis Finals Party will be held in in the Function Room in the clubhouse. If anybody has collected a ticket and is now unable to attend please contact Clare (087 618 7992). We have a few returned tickets available so anybody who has not yet collected or purchased a ticket please also contact Clare also.
Dear members, We would be delighted if you could attend a Community Open Day on 23rd February from 6pm-7:30pm. The purpose of this event is to showcase our new facilities to our local Community stakeholders, local residents and school principals in the area. In addition Richard Fahey, CEO Tennis Ireland, will make a presentation to the club on its recent success in gaining our gold accreditation status. The second term for all groups on a Monday will commence on Monday 4th February, and groups from Tuesday to Saturday will commence on Monday 11th February. Details are as follows: ORANGE BALL EVENT: Saturday the 26th January from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Event is open to all children who are currently in orange ball coaching.
