The 2021 Club Championships draw is now available to view HERE. Matches have been scheduled for the first few days of the event starting Monday 30th August. It is a very tight schedule with 274 entries so please check the schedule daily as some match times may be subject to change. There are 3 time slots each weekday evening, 6.30pm, 8pm and 9.30pm and matches scheduled for during the day at weekends. In line with Tennis Ireland return to  competition guidelines, all matches are played as first point after deuce and the third set if needed is played as a championship tie break, up to 10 points. Another great week for Castleknock LTC juniors with 5 winning tournaments and great performances.  Let's start with James Lammas single and double winner of the junior Sutton tournament giving away 1000 points for the winner. James won the doubles tournament with Oliver Hrdilek also among our juniors. Chloe collins won 4 doubles tournaments this season. Another week full of success and excellent results for our juniors has just ended. A large number of juniors took part in the national level tournament in Rushbrook, which awards 1250 points for the Irish junior ranking.  A great victory, the second of the season, for Oliver Hradilek, winner of the U.14 tournament. The same tournament happened in the double girls for Chloe Collins with her partner Sophie Maccarthy. For Chloe, It is the fourth tournament win this season. Excellent week also for Olwyn Berry, runner-up of the 500 tournament in Nenagh. Olwyn is now number 16 on the national rankings. Another positive note comes from Sligo, where Aniket Roy won the U.12 250 tournaments. For Aniket it is the 3rd success out of 5 finals this year.  Good luck…

After a long time without competition, due to the covid-19 pandemic, our junior went back to compete in the Irish Junior Tour. The first week of competition was full of matches for our juniors in every category, in Carrickmines, Galway, Castlebar and Naas. Chloe Collins won the girls u-14 singles at the first junior open of summer at Carrickmines winning the girls u-14 singles beating Amy McCarthy from Limerick Lawn 6-2, 7-5. Chloe then teamed up with Rachel Deegan to also win the girls u-14 doubles against Amy and her cousin Sophie in a tight 3 setter played on grass 6-7, 6-3, 10-6. Tennis Ireland have organised this event with Castleknock and over 100 Irish clubs participating with over 1,400 entries. To check your round robin group click Tournament Players and select your name.
