The Mixed Team Tennis will start on Friday 18th September.

This will be a fun, social event running over 2 sessions at 7pm and 8.30pm, for 5 consecutive weeks on Friday evenings on 18th, 25th of Sept and 2nd, 9th and 16th of October.
Prizegiving will be held on the final night – Friday 16th October.
For those new members unfamiliar with the event the format consists of:
- Teams of 6 players (3 women, 3 men – similar grading ), across 2 pools.
- 21 games with the final game a normal tiebreak.
- You can only play with the same player twice across all weeks.
- Your captain will decide the weekly player pairings and positions ( 1, 2, 3 ).
- Each week you will play a different team in your pool.
- Scoring system: 4 points for 14 or more games, 3 points for 11-13 games, 2 points for 10 games and 1 point for 7-9 games.
- When a sub is used in a match that pairing can score a maximum of three points.
- Matches are only played on Friday evenings. There will be 2 sessions, 7pm and 8.30pm. If you cannot make a Friday you must use a sub of a similar standard, agreed by the Captains.
The cost of the event is 30 euro.
